Inspections

 Under HSE regulations all Storage Equipment requires an independent expert annual inspection.

Working to SEMA codes of practice & adhering to both the PUWER regulations and HSE Guide HSG76, Baudains Access & Storage offer a comprehensive rolling annual Inspection service. 

We start with an audit of the warehouse, the layout and efficiency of the storage equipment and compatibility of the access and handling equipment. 

We then inspect your storage equipment for damage and any potential non compliant systems.

Systems included in these reports consist of fixed & permanent counter balance edge protection, skylight safety nets, raised platforms & stairs. 

We carry out inspections in accordance with, UK building regulations Part K2, BS13700:2021, BS4592, EN13374, EN14122-3 & BS/EN1263 to ensure that anyone gaining raised access on your propert to carry out work at height or other maintenance procedures are protected by compiant & safe systems.  

Working to BS7883 we provide a comprehensive inspection and maintenance programme to ensure that the wire lifeline systems installed on your property are safe, fit for puropose and ready to use.

We will also check that you have the correct technical information available, and that you have the correct PFPE and that it is good to go.

We appreciate that systems such as these vertical and horizontal lifelines need to be ready in an emergency situation and we will help you to make sure that those who need to access such high risk areas of your property do so as safely as possible, giving you piece of mind.

Following training at the industry leading SpanSet facility we are delighted to be able to offer an inspection service aimed at PFPE, including harnesses, lanyards, fall arrest blocks and strops.  

Required by regulations to be carried out every 6 months this service can be done on site should it be required.
